Thank you for reaching out. With four solar panels, you will have to connect them in series. The positive connector of the first solar panel will be connected to the negative connector of the solar panel cable, and the negative connector of the first solar panel will connected to the positive connector of the second solar panel. You will have to repeat this up until the third solar panel. Lastly, the negative connector of the fourth solar panel will be connected to the positive connector of the solar panel cable. This is how the series connection works.

Will it work for off grid power sources with a stand by generator for backup

Two questions. 1. Is there remote monitoring from an app or only from the console. 2. If you are charging it from an external generator like the Powerhouse system, does this generator still provide power while being charged via AC?

Also, you can charge the MyGrid10K and still provide an output as long as the charge is solar, wind, or 240v AC charger.
